Hourglass Medical is a startup that is revolutionizing human-computer interaction (HCI)
and developing next-gen technology that reimagines how people access and interact with
electronic devices in the areas of smart glasses, telemedicine, and medical devices. We’re a
small team located at Research Park that was born out of a well-established local company.
We’re growing quickly and looking to hire a Mobile Application Developer intern

What will you work on?

  • Designing and coding mobile applications for smart glasses
  • Developing innovative prototypes using the latest in mobile technologies
  • Exploring product concepts and use cases to develop a simple and intuitive user
    interface
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Conducting code reviews and ensuring the quality of the codebase
  • Participating in the full mobile application development lifecycle, including testing and
    deployment
  • Troubleshooting problems and crafting creative solutions

Are you Ready?

  • A student enrolled in a Computer Science or similar program.
  • Proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, or Flutter with hands-on mobile app development.
  • Experience with real-time graphics, video, and audio.
  • Familiarity with iOS and Android platforms to create seamless user experiences.
  • Understanding of user experience and interface design principles.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills for cross-functional projects.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
