On November 8 from 4:00-6:30 p.m., the Research Park will host a technology open house for students at the University of Illinois to meet companies and see demonstrations of the technology that is being developed.
The open house will begin in the EnterpriseWorks atrium at 60 Hazelwood Drive, Champaign. Students will be able to choose one of three tracks when visiting companies: Biotech and Chemical Sciences; Agriculture, Mechanical, Materials, and Electrical Engineering; or Computer Science and Computer Engineering. The event will end with an informal networking reception at the Yahoo! building. Students will have the opportunity to interact with large corporate operations, as well as a mix of both faculty and student startups.
Shuttles will depart from Siebel Center (Mathews Ave. entrance) and the ACES Library (circle drive) from 3:30-4:00 p.m., and will return from 6:30-7:00 p.m.
