The News-Gazette reported Thursday and the latest updates regarding Phase IV expansion of Research Park. Most notably, the retail and residential project is now envisioned to be located closer to the iHotel and Conference Center and near the center of the Park. The goal is to create more walkable amenities for Research Park clients, their employees, and other stakeholders.
“The project, which currently calls for a total of about 50 residential units and about 7,500 square feet of retail space, is being called the Research Park Town Center. Members of the UI Research Park Board of Managers reviewed and approved plans for the project earlier this week. Groundbreaking could occur in late-summer.”
