CHAMPAIGN – The News-Gazette’s Paul Wood highlights local tech innovators in his column, “Wired In.” Recently he sat down with William Dick, the president of Illinois RocStar, an EnterpriseWorks graduate that has offices in the University of Illinois Research Park.
Illinois Rocstar LLC performs produces high-performance parallel engineering software and performs computational engineering analyses for U.S. industries and government agencies. Using the Rocstar Simulation Suite (Rocstar) and a growing set of multiphysics software tools, its technical staff employ first-principles based physics for high-fidelity numerical analysis of fluid flows, combustion, materials, structures, and their interactions in complex changing geometries.
