Huawei Opens Office in Research Park

The leading solution provider in global information and communication technology, Huawei, opened at the University of Illinois Research Park on Tuesday, October 24. Their Information and Communication Technology solutions, products, and services are used in over 170 countries, and they are ranked second as global maker of mobile phones.
The Huawei R&D USA Champaign site is the company’s first tab attached to a University in the United States. With the opening of Huawei, the company has hopes of establishing a Huawei Champaign Center of Excellence in the Midwest.
