About the Role

The Procurement Data Analyst is responsible for the data entry, analysis and reporting of procurement activities to support the company’s supply chain operations.

This position offers a salary range of $50,000 – $70,000 pending experience, skills, and alignment with the role’s responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately input procurement data into internal systems, including purchase orders, supplier information, inventory levels, and pricing details.
  • Maintain and update procurement databases, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Track and record procurement transactions, including order status, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
  • Maintain accurate records of all supplier communications, contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Ensure that all procurement documentation is complete, organized, and compliant with company policies.
  • Assist in managing supplier lead times, delivery schedules, and order follow-ups.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and inefficiencies in the supply chain.
  • Create reports and dashboards to track key procurement metrics, including order volumes, supplier performance, and inventory turnover.
  • Provide actionable insights to procurement and supply chain teams based on data analysis.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory movement, procurement activities, and supplier performance.
  • Support the procurement team with data-driven recommendations for optimizing stock levels and order schedules.
  • Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and finance teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all departments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chaing Management or related field.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in procurement data entry, analysis, logistics or supply chain processes is preferred.
  • Experience working with procurement software or enterprise resource planning systems preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
