BlooMD is focused on finding natural sources of bioactive compounds that could be used in human health, animal health, and food preparation. Using its proprietary insights, they screen a library of plant materials to isolate and test plant-made compounds for activity against common fungal and bacterial pathogens. BlooMD started in 2020 with Daphne Preuss and Shawn Carlson.
