Emily Neal officially joined the Research Park team as the Assistant Director of Talent in October 2021.  She leads workforce development and recruitment programs for the Park, assisting companies with talent needs.

Emily has been a part of the Research Park community for over 5 years, with previous experience working for a financial technology firm in programming, employee engagement, and human resources. Prior to that, she worked for the University of Illinois in career services, marketing, and outreach.

She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota journalism school, and received her master’s in sports management from the University of Illinois. Emily and her husband live in Savoy with their beloved dog and two children.
