Independent evaluators with expertise in clean energy selected 10 early-stage companies, representing six states, to vie for the $100,000 Clean Energy Trust Prize for Early-stage Entrepreneurship. More information on the challenge and the other semifinalists is available at the Clean Energy Challenge website

EP Purification is devoted to the manufacturing of novel systems for the purification of water and air. Based on microplasma technology developed at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, EP Purification products offer improved efficiencies, which greatly reduce cost and weight. One of our products includes a line of ozone generators designed for the purification of water for municipal water supplies, commercial laundries, and pools. Tests show the reactor design to be at least as efficient as the best conventional systems available today but at least an order of magnitude lower in size and weight.
