CHAMPAIGN – Swarnav Pujari, founder of Touch Light Innovations, was recently featured as a high-tech difference maker in the Champaign News-Gazette’s weekly Wired In column. Touch Light Innovations is an affiliate of the EnterpriseWorks startup incubator.
Touch Light Innovations is the creator of the Power Pad, a device which generates power through kinetic energy when a pedestrian steps on it. The Power Pad is a $20, one square foot device that, to date, can generate up to 10 watts of electricity per step, and has been tested and demoed in multiple high-traffic locations.
