PhotoniCare, Inc. was chosen as one of ten companies to participate in the Young Enterprise Initiative (YEi) Start in France program. The YEi Start in France program, founded in 2005 by the Office for Science and Technology of the Embassy of France in the United States, is an annual competition organized by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs in partnership with Business France, Paris&Co, Paris Région Entreprises, and the RETIS Innovation Network for young foreign science-based companies interested in growing their business in France and Europe.
The ten participating laureates, including PhotoniCare, will meet in Paris this week to launch the 2017 YEi Start in France program. Laureates will receive a personalized immersion week in France including training sessions, networking and one-on-one meetings that will allow each laureate to benefit from an extensive customized business network and connections to the best resources in Europe.
“The PhotoniCare team is honored and excited to be chosen to participate in the YEi accelerator program. YEi has an incredible network for startups like us to plug into the commercial ecosystem in Europe,” said Ryan Shelton, PhotoniCare CEO and co-founder. “We are thrilled to start the process of introducing our diagnostic platform to European patients, so we can improve outcomes and save healthcare costs across the pond, as well! Merci, YEi!”
