Tom Osha, Senior Vice President, Innovation and Economic Development at Wexford Science & Technology, LLC recently featured Laura Frerichs, executive director of the University of Illinois Research Park, on its Commons podcast.
The short interview focuses on the importance of student engagement in corporate innovation activities.
“This was a great opportunity to share the work we do to build an innovation community at the University of Illinois Research Park,” said Frerichs. “We’ve worked to create a highly engaged community of global companies and startups on-campus, who are creating new technology, employing students, and creating industry innovation. We have big plans for growth to increase our live-work-play location as a destination for tech professionals.”
