Illinois RocStar Expansion

Illinois RocStar was recently notified of new grant awards including:

• a DOE Phase I SBIR contract “Turbine Trailing Edge Noise Reduction Using Adjoint-Based Shape Optimization”;
• a U.S. OSD/Air Force Phase I SBIR contract “Utilizing Medical Imaging Technology for Generation of Mesoscale Computational Descriptions”; and
• a Phase II SBIR contract with the U.S. OSD/Air Force “Solid Rocket Motor Propellant Characterization and Material Reconstruction Using High-Resolution Tomography.”

Given these new awards, they are hiring new full-time engineers and expanded to take an additional suite in EnterpriseWorks on 9/1/10.
