Illinois Launch Accepting Applications for Student & Recent Alumni Startups

The Illinois Launch program, organized through the Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership, is accepting applications for the Illinois Launch program. The application is available at Illinois Launch is a new venture pipeline program designed to link new and existing campus efforts and initiatives that encourage entrepreneurialism and innovation. Launch provides student entrepreneurs (and recent alumni) with access to funding, mentors, office space, workshops, competitions, and relevant courses. Companies receive up to $20,000 in funding support through the program based on milestones that are completed. This campus-wide effort links and exploits synergies between existing programs, bridges gaps and provides students with the resources necessary to launch a new venture. The primary partners in Launch are the Technology Entrepreneur Center (TEC), IllinoisVENTURES, Illini Entrepreneurship Network (IEN), and EnterpriseWorks.
