EnterpriseWorks startup EP Purification was quoted in a Chicago Blue Sky innovation story about the intersection of the tech world and the water crisis in Flint, Mich.
“Sung-Jin Park, chief technology officer of EP Purification, a startup based at the Research Park at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, said … (if )startups with budding technologies join forces, water contamination problems can be solved more quickly and cheaply.
“The cost of the whole system can be much lower than what individual tech companies can do with a single problem,” he said. We need a “hybrid method. It’s not one technology, it’s several technologies together.”
