EnterpriseWorks Startup, AutoScout, Featured on ESPN2

CHAMPAIGN, IL, October 4, 2014 — During the Fighting Illini Football game against Purdue, ESPN2 highlighted EnterpriseWorks startup, AutoScout, as a segue from commercials to the game. AutoScout, led by co-founder and CEO, Shanauk Ahuja, has been working closely with the Illini Football team to further develop its product.

AutoScout is developing automated computational algorithms suitable for the automated analysis of football video.  Automated tasks include video editing and automated semantic analysis of game footage and statistic extraction. Algorithms include estimating camera location and motion, tracking player movements on the field, and understanding player actions.  This will ultimately lead to automated inferences, and thus assist in the development of team strategies.
