PRESS RELEASE

ANDalyze expands product sales into China and Australia, capturing growing opportunities in the water testing market with DNA-based sensor technology.

ANDalyze’s focus on water testing for heavy metal contamination has found a growing demand for its new DNA-based sensor technology. The product cuts the time and effort needed for field testing water supplies and is ideal for fast on-site detection and analysis of low part per billion (ppb) contamination levels.

Champaign, IL, USA, September 28th, 2010: ANDalyze sensor/Fluorimeter platform solution for simplifying the on-site testing and analysis of water for heavy metal contamination is now being sold in China and Australia as a replacement to more time-consuming testing methods such as electrochemical and reagent testing methods that require significant training. This new product requires no special knowledge of chemistry, produces no hazardous chemical waste, and shows test results in less than one minute, greatly reducing operational testing time and cost for the water industry.

“We found the ANDalyze product to be a fast and simple test for the detection of lead in water. It is much easier than other methods on the market today, its fast response time and simplicity are needed for field testing,” said Haibin Ma, of Focused Photonics, one of ANDalyze’s first customers in China.
