EnterpriseWorks graduate startup Agrible is featured on the 2018 Thrive Top 50 list for the second year in a row. This ranking signifies the best in agriculture technology from around the world. This year, they placed in the “Biotechnology” category, and on the 2017 list placed in the “Big Data & Analytics” category. In February, Agrible will be honored at the Thrive Innovation Forum), an annual event bringing corporates, startups, academics and investors together to share industry milestones and opportunities.

Agrible is set to launch retailer services in the new year to meet market challenges head on. The new retailer services will provide a digital, two way communication system for the agriculture community. These services make the relationships between growers, retailers, sales personnel, and agronomy and agriculture seamless.

Senior vice president of technology at Agrible, Brent Trenhaile, was recently featured in The News-Gazette for his work with Agrible and Anheuser Busch InBev.  Agrible has partnered with AB InBev to give barley growers useful information and to give them insights on how to grow crops more efficiently.  By taking the information gathered, Agrible and AB InBev are both able to build a global sustainability view by collecting data on the malted barley supply chain, water use, land efficiency and carbon footprints.

EnterpriseWorks graduate Agrible is named one of the most prominent players that rely on a combination of drone/airplane-based imagery. Agrible focuses on providing innovative science that farmers and ag companies can use easily every day to improve their production with cloud-based delivery systems, their core offering being the Morning Farm Report.

Anheuser-Busch InBev utilizes Agrible's Morning Farm Report in order to enhance AB InBev's existing SmartBarley Platform, which aims to leverage data, technology and insights. Agrible, an EnterpriseWorks graduate, has been working with AB InBev since 2016. Since then, their relationship has developed beyond the United States into a major international expansion across multiple countries, such as with South Africa, Uruguay, Brazil and Argentina.

September 20, 2017: Anheuser-Busch InBev Lab and Agrible, Inc., both located in the Research Park, are partnering up. The goal of the partnership is to improve barley production while simultaneously minimizing environmental impact. This partnership will make it easier for farmers around the world to access better data and predictive analytics on crop management and climate effects.

Paul Miller, Co-founder and Chief Science Officer for Agrible, a University of Research Park based company, was selected as a finalist for the 2017 Illinois Technology Association's CityLIGHTS, Technologist of the Year Award. 

The Technologist of the Year Award is presented to a talented individual who has sparked true innovation by using existing technology for a new purpose or developing a new technology that serves a unique purpose or service.

Agrible and Granular were recently recognized on THRIVE 50, an annual list created by SVG Partners that ranks the best AgTech companies in the United States.

Agrible is a homegrown organization that first started at the EnterpriseWorks incubator. They focus on providing farmers with the tools and science to improve production with cloud-based delivery systems. The company has since moved to a different building, but are still located at Research Park. Agrible received praise in the "Big Data and Analytics" category of the THRIVE 50 list.
