EP Purification Receives $300K Grant

CHAMPAIGN, IL, Nov. 12, 2014 — The Environemental Protection Agency gave EnterpriseWorks startup, EP Purification, a $300,000 grant today, following its $100,000 prize last spring from winning the Clean Energy Trust Challenge.

EP Purification has been in the EnterpriseWorks incubator in Champaign’s Research Park since 2012.

About EP Purification
EP Purification develops prototypes for a series of ozone generators based on microplasma technology. Offering ozone “throughputs” ranging from 10 grams/hour to more than 1 kg/hour, those reactors will have a footprint at least an order of magnitude smaller than those available with conventional technology.
