AS THE DIGITAL MANUFACTURING INTERN, YOU WILL:
1. Learn about real world manufacturing visibility, quality, and capacity challenges
2. Support the enablement of digital manufacturing connectivity leveraging electrical, analog, and digital standards (e.g. OPC UA, MQTT).
3. Test the implementation of Industrial IoT (Internet of Things) hardware to help determine manufacturing and shop-floor standards for sustained, real-time data collection.
4. Work alongside Strategic Digital Partners (e.g. TCS, Microsoft and Dell) to validate IoT designs and implement in product manufacturing environments.
 
QUALIFICATIONS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Pursuit of a bachelor’s or master's degree in a technology discipline with a Computer Engineering, Operations Management, and/or Electrical Engineering background; must have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours prior to beginning the internship program.
Demonstrated experience in the field of Operations Management, Electrical Engineering, and Industrial IoT with a working knowledge of computer engineering and analytics.
A 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application.
A strong intellectual curiosity, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
Strong written and verbal communication.
