Full Stack Developer Intern (Immediate Hire) – Ensaras

As a full-stack web developer you will help develop and deploy a cloud-based platform that enables wastewater facilities to optimize their treatment operations using data-driven solutions.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented, passionate, and hardworking full stack web developer, who thrives as a self-starter in a start-up setting. We are a small team, and you will be responsible for developing and deploying a cloud-based web platform at a wastewater facility. You will report directly to the company President. We are looking for someone with previous experience in both front- and back-end web programming, and cloud-based infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications.
• Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
• Build and maintain back-end services and APIs using Python, Django, and other relevant frameworks.
• Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of our applications.
• Optimize and fine-tune database queries and schema designs.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud services, including EC2, ECS, ECR, and RDS.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices and coding standards.

Requirements

• Time commitment 20 hours per week during the academic year, available to start immediately.
• Currently pursuing M.S. or B.S. in computer science or related fields.
• Proficiency in both back-end and front-end architecture.
• Proficiency in python and javascript web programming languages.
• Experience working with AWS services (EC2, ECS, ECR, RDS) and cloud deployment and cloud architecture.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and time series databases (InfluxDB).
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
