Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, etc.)
  • Critical thinking: capable of mental organization and reasoning to solve complex technical problems
  • Self-starter: eager to take hands-on initiative to find creative solutions
  • Experience with long-term engineering projects (academically or otherwise)
  • MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) proficiency
  • Experience with CAD software is preferred (but not required)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Engineering teams (Design, Process, and Validation) in product development of high-voltage fuse products with tasks including:
  • Design and manufacture assembly fixtures leveraging 3D Printing technology
  • Conduct hands-on prototype builds for first-run products
  • Arrange and facilitate validation testing in a laboratory setting
  • Perform design-minded test data and failure modes analyses to support new product development
  • Collaborate with engineers working in a large-scale factory setting to develop solutions for high-volume production issues
  • Present findings, results, and recommendations to a cross-functional group of professionals including executive leadership
